On Friday January 23rd, the General Assembly of the Portuguese Association of Ceramic Cities and Villages (AptCVC) was held at the Municipal Library of Albergaria-a-Velha, in Portugal.
During the meeting, the new governing bodies for the 2026-2028 term were elected: Maria da Conceição Henriques, representative of the Municipality of Caldas da Rainha, took office as President; Luís Souto de Miranda of the Municipality of Aveiro as Vice-President of the Board of Directors; Pedro Miguel Ferreira of the Municipality of Barcelos as Treasurer of the Board of Directors; Graça de Fátima Melo, from the Municipality of Vila Franca do Campo, as Secretary of the Board of Directors, and Paula Malojo, from the Municipality of Alcobaça, as member of the Board of Directors.
For the General Assembly, Manuel Vitorino, from the Municipality of Viana do Castelo, took office as Chairman of the Board, Eduardo Silva, from the Municipality of Mafra, as Vice-Chairman of the Board, and Carlos Pinto de Sá, from the Municipality of Montemor-o-Novo, as Secretary of the Board.
The General Assembly concluded with a request for a vote of commendation, which was unanimously approved and recorded in the minutes, for the outgoing bodies and in particular for Dr Capão Filipe, outgoing President of the Association and former Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Aveiro.
